Pakistan will host the Asia Cup 2023 from August 31 to September 17, 2023. All of the matches will be played at international-quality venues in a 50-over ODI event. Two groups will be used in the 2023 edition, with two teams from each group earning spots in the Super Four stage. The final will then feature the top two teams from the Super Four stage.

Dhumal, who is currently in Durban for the ICC Chief Executives Meet, stated that the PCB’s Zaka Ashraf and BCCI Secretary Jay Shah met to finalise the agenda before the ICC Board meeting on Thursday. Bangladesh vs. Sri Lanka, Afghanistan vs. Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka vs. Afghanistan are the other three matches. The sole home game for Pakistan will be against Nepal, a squad with less strength.
